What could be cuter than 4-week old kittens tussling with their litter mates and romping through the grass together --wait a minute, GRASS? What are these little kittens doing outside and WHERE is their mom?
Each year during Oregon’s unofficial “Kitten Season” -March through September, thousands of kittens are born to outside mothers and unspayed family pets. For many kittens life is not all about play. When they are born outside, their mom cat faces daily danger as she hunts for food to feed herself so she can nurse her babies. And tragically, many moms do not survive cars and predators in their search to sustain their kittens. The babies end up alone, cold, starving and at risk. This is where Cat’s Cradle Rescue – and YOU – can step in to help.
Do you have a spare room, a desire to help cats and kittens in need, and time to play with and care for them? Do you have children that can learn kindness and compassion by taking care of a foster pet, or maybe your older cat passed away and left an empty space in your heart that needs to be refilled….we can use your help and help you at the same time.
Fostering a cat or kittens is a WIN-WIN-WIN situation: the kitten is rescued, you feel great about helping to make a difference, and the family that receives your kitten is thrilled. How can you beat that?
If you think that you might be a good candidate please don’t hesitate to contact us. A representative will call to discuss your options on how you can make a difference in the life of a needy cat or kitten.
