Herbie needs an indoor home where he can get lots of love because he loves to purr, interact with people and be your friend.  He has been declawed.  Due to circumstances beyond his control he has had to be an outdoor cat for about five years and he has done very well for a cat with no claws.  The neighborhood kids make a point of stopping by his house to be loved on by Herbie.  He is estimated to be about 8 years old.

His mom had to put him in my care when she moved to a retirement home and couldn’t take Herbie with her.  He is living in a comfy box in my car port.  He wants to come in and hang with my three indoor cats but we just can’t risk the drama my cats would create.  Herbie gets along great with my dog.  He has a kinked tail he is a little sensitive about so we don’t touch or speak about it when we are petting him. 

 I don’t know his medical history but at some point his family must have kept him inside enough to want a declawed cat and he seems very healthy.  His mom had rescued him from living with an old man who was going into an assisted living home.  Herbie would be great company and I am sure if given the chance he would love to greet you as you walk in the door and hear about your day.  Please call to schedule a time to visit this sweet boy!
