How Does So Much Haughtiness Exist In Such A Beautiful Cat? I know, I know. She is gorgeous. All fluffy and regal like. But don't look in her direction for too long. She is apathetic to her groupies and will swifty turn on a fuzzy paw to show you her backside. She requires that she be the only furry creature in the home. I mean really. How do you expect her to live amongst the peasants? She does not wish to share her people. They must be there for her and her alone. Small children are not tolerated well, what with their prodding fingers and inability to read her cues. Best that she reside in a castle barren of bairns (see what I did there?). She's a bit tubby which makes her seem kind somehow, like a cat you can trust with your secrets. Don't be fooled. She may seem like a great listener but inside that hairy package; she really does not care. If you present her with treats, you will attain carte blanche status and will be welcome to pet her while she snacks. Do beware and watch for her tells. Keep your hands on her for too long and she may slash and dash. Each morning she wishes to be beside you as you brush and floss. She particularly likes to sip from the fountain therein. A trait of her ancestry. Now be a good kinsman and let that spout spout. She will sleep most days away but will rouse herself to vociferously welcome you home. She'll stare at you while you make dinner, occasionally chiming in with a vehement meow. I've often assumed she is telling me I'm doing it wrong. At almost 12 years of age, she is a worldly girl. You should need only to lead her to her chambers and serve her nourishment in her eating place once and she will never again need to be escorted. Please be a good caretaker and clear her chamber pot regularly as she is quite fluffy and needs room to keep umm, hanger-on-ers at bay. She rules only her indoor kindom as she is a royal scaredy cat of the world out of doors. Besides, she simply can not get her mane tousled in a breeze. Once acclimated, you will see that she is still quite nimble for her days and enjoys the usual feline entertainment, especially if it includes you. It is true. She may willingly travel to the east coast with her current people. But alas, such an event would surely cause her great duress as her empress does not care to ride in wheeled gizmos. She believes this be her best option. Ruling is hard.
