Great Cats for Great Homes

  Meet Amelia, the chestnut brown tabby, and her sister, Orchid, the tabby/calico beauty.  These green-eyed girls came from a rescue situation where they needed immediate placement into a foster home. Their foster mom has been diligently working on socializing these sisters since January 2018.  Orchid is a shy, but affectionate lap warmer. She accepts gentle belly rubs once she gets to know you and loves to be brushed.  You’ll find her carrying around small toys and snuggling up with her sister for nap time.  Amelia prefers to hang out with her sister and has not warmed up to people yet.  She is very content hanging out in the same room as people she knows but prefers to keep her distance.  Amelia is very playful and loves to chase her sister around the house.  They both love the laser pointer, fishing pole style toys, and the tall cat tree at their foster mom’s house. These girls are looking for their forever home together as best friends. A quiet home without rowdy dogs and/or young children would be best to make sure they flourish in a new home.  They both love the company of other cats!
