  Chai was found alone in the woods near the Oregon coast. It's unknown how long she was surviving in the elements before she was rescued, but given her personality, she obviously was, at one time, someone's cat. Chai is super-duper sweet, affectionate, playful, quite vocal, and just an all around goofball. She'll make you laugh as she plays with her toys. She'll make your heart melt when she gives you kisses. She's content to sleep on your lap for as long as you'll let her. She'll even snuggle with you when you go to bed (and will probably try to position herself so she gets as much of the mattress as possible). Aside from snuggling and playing, she also enjoys staring out the window, the same way humans enjoy staring at the TV. She enjoys treats, seafood-flavored cat food (not chicken), and she will partake in some catnip from time to time, if you have some. Chai would prefer to not be left alone for too long, if at all possible, as she gets lonely. It's unknown whether she gets along with other cats. She might like a kitty companion, if the right match can be found. Dogs on the other hand are a definite NO. They are scary, as far as she is concerned. Sudden loud noises are also something she would prefer to avoid. Overall, if you have room in your heart and your home, Chai will make a wonderful, loving kitty friend for many years to come.
