Great Cats for Great Homes

  This beauty came from a feral colony as a kitten, in Albany. The foster mom saw her and wanted to give her a better life and try to socialize her. Yelena, her given name, was fully socialized but went backwards after 6 months old when she was released with the rest of the cat brood in foster care as the foster mom needed to make room for new intakes. She still needs some intensive work for probably a month by keeping her it a bedroom with no hiding place that she could not be reached as she needs handled daily. If you can not, we can arrange to work with her again, prior to placement. She currently will come up on the foster's bed to give her snuggles and cuddles at night and is such a love bunny. But during the day, she keeps her distance but talks to you in her cute little chatter voice. Yelena must be with other cats, especially older ones that she can look up to. She loves other cats and would be lonesome without them. She could continue indoor/outdoor, as she is currently, but with approval by foster of new home. Otherwise, indoor only.
