Murphy was living a good life as an indoor cat for 10 years in the quiet household of an elderly lady, my mother. He was her excellent constant companion. He had a cancer on his ear that she was diligent about treating. His left ear is now tiny but very healthy. She was assured by the vet that they were successful with his treatment and he is now healthy. My Mother's health declined suddenly, and after what was to be a short hospital stay with a return home, she passed away in the hospital several weeks ago. Murphy is now extremely lonely and is looking for another quiet home. I would love to keep him, but he would not do well in my extremely busy household, filled with big dogs and an energetic son with special needs. My mother expressed concern for her cat with almost her last breath, and I promised I would find a good, loving home for him
