  My name is Mr. Weasley (yes, my parents are definitely Harry Potter nerds) and I am a 14 year old, green eyed, red haired cuddle machine. Most are surprised that I am that old, as I have lots of love for life and adventuring. I have lived with dogs and cats for years in the past, getting along well with cats, but even better with dogs. At home I prefer to just relax in a sunny spot on the porch or on the couch or in your lap. If you gave me the choice, I would choose your lap! I love being the center of attention and have a loud joyful purr when I am happy. I’m on a very easy renal support dry food diet and just graze on my food throughout the day, as I have stage 2 kidney disease (even though I have improved from stage 4 to stage two over a year ago and have been stable and healthy, according to my vet!). I am happy indoors or outdoors and am good with kids and humans of all ages. I sometimes think I am a human and will sit in the chair next to you while you have your friends over for dinner or join you for your living room yoga class. I love being pet, will never play “hard to get”, and give so much in return. My parents will be moving and traveling a lot and cannot keep me, but  I was rescued by them ten years ago and am very adaptable to others. Even with moving houses, I immediately want to explore and go outside and get to know the neighborhood. I’m not a scaredy cat, I don’t hide and I love to explore and meet my neighbors, (usually making friends with all the kids on the block!).  I would love to be your new furry family member!
