Great Cats for Great Homes

  This goes out to all in hopes that someone can help a recently abandoned kitty that is currently in my care. I'm looking for a loving new family for a very affectionate, older cat. Neighbors of ours abruptly moved out, leaving behind a very loving 13 year old, declawed female cat. She is a beautiful, sweet and attention hungry love. She wants nothing more than a lap to curl up on for hours. She greets me vocally every morning and when I come home, and can be a chatterbox. She trots about following like a sweet puppy. She is quite active for her age and enjoys playing. She adores to be pet & rubbed and purrs like a motor. I believe she'd do best as an only cat so that she is given enough time and love, daily. We took her in to keep her safe, fed and healthy, because we just couldn't bare for her to spend her last days alone, or un-loved in a pen. It was never in our plans or budget to care for a 3rd cat. At times she looks as if she feels left out, and like the outsider with our other 2 rescue kitties. She seems to also feel uneasy with other cats and is protective. We bought all you'd need to keep her happy: she has a bed she loves to be cozy and safe in, a few toys, a fountain and- because she has a tendency to overeat/eat too quickly- we bought her a specially designed food dish. This breaks my heart, but she deserves a home where she can be the center of attention. Please reach out if you can love this precious creature. I named her Autumn.
