Great Cats for Great Homes

Muffin is a very self sufficient kitty but also has little quirks to tell you she appreciates you. She is an indoor/outdoor cat, but mainly comes in the house to warm up, eat and rest. She does prefer to be outdoors and will use the litter box if she has to, but will persistently ask to go outside first. She is a lover, but not a lap cat. She likes being petted but prefers to sit at your feet and sleep at the end of the bed. She is not high maintenance and needs a place that she can roam during the day outside and hunt. She will typically only come inside in the evening, and wants back out by morning. We had another cat that shared the house with her this last year, but it was very clear that Muffin is set in her ways of not sharing her space with other animals, with the exception of a Guinea Pig. She had no problems hanging out with a Guinea Pig we had and would just lay and nap in his enclosure without bothering him, it was quite comical. She also prefers older children. I have a 7 and 11 year old and she does just fine. She is not mean to younger children she just keeps her distance and doesn't really want anything to do with them. I am hoping to find her a loving home that see can live comfortably out the rest of her life.
