  Hi, I'm Souny. You may be thinking of a 60's pop star right now, but I'm really nothing like my namesake - for starters I surprised everyone by being a GIRL!! I'm a fairly sophisticated little girl(except when I'm chasing feathers. I've fallen into my water bowl and the food bowl. I didn't care - I wanted that feather and I wasn't embarrassed about landing in my food to get it.) As you can tell from my photo I'm also adorable. What you can't tell about me from my picture is that I'm learning to trust humans. My sister and I are extremely sweet kittens, but we just haven't been around humans enough to trust them. When I first came to live with my foster mom I was really scared and stayed under the bed for days. Eventually I decided to trust the human who brought me the yummy food. It's taken a little while, but now I run up to the human and purr for her. I let her pet me and pick me up, but I'm still a little nervous about the whole human thing. I really hate loud noises and sudden movements (don't even ask me about the vacuum cleaner. That was terrifying.) My foster mom thinks that I'm an awesome sweetheart, but I need someone who will be patient with me and give me time to get to know you. And remember, feathers are good and vacuum cleaners are bad.
