  Hi, I'm Cher. My foster mom didn't like my name at first but now she says it fits me; she says cher is French for dear and I am very dear. Unfortunately I am also uncomfortable around people. I want very much to love and be loved by humans, but I'm just so scared. I purr and roll on my back and knead my paws whenever my foster mom comes around; I want so badly to be the kind of cat who sits in a human's lap and be pet, but I just don't trust humans enough yet to do that. I'm trying really hard to be braver, but I need someone who will be patient with me. My sister Sunny is going to need a little extra work, but we promise we will be worth it.
