Great Cats for Great Homes

  We have had Princess since she was 6 weeks old. She’s a great cat, however we have since moved form a house where she was indoor/outdoor & now live in a high rise building where she cannot gain access outside, it’s been almost 2 years and she has made it clear she is still very unhappy & has not adjusted. I recently also had a baby, and she is not adjusting well to that, but adores my 7 year old son. He is old enough to understand her cues dislikes/likes. She does NOT scratch furniture which is AMAZING! She’s cuddly and really just wants to get outdoors again, however she does sleep inside at night & like to cuddle up in the bed right next to you. She sleeps with my 7 year old & absolutely adores him. A house, not an apartment would be ideal for her with children over the age of 7 years old, preferably the only pet (no dogs) however she has lived with another cat for several of the 6 years & did just fine. I think more then one might be overwhelming for her. At this point I think she would appreciate a feline friend. She is not big on cat toys she prefers the real thing, this why her desire to get outdoors once a day is so strong! She will need to adjust again accordingly, so be sure you are able to keep her inside until she can adjust to her new surrounding to get out & explore the great big world again :)
