Great Cats for Great Homes

Sylvie came to me this summer. While working on doing TNR (trap,neuter, return) in a community cat colony, we trapped her and soon realized she was a lost or abandoned pet. She went to Feral Cat Coalition where they discovered she had already been spayed so we knew for sure she was a lost pet. She has been to the vet a few times and was really underweight when we caught her. It makes no sense to release her back to the colony where we found her, as she is not feral and needs humans to love her. Sylvie has no microchip and we have searched high and low for her family and come up with nothing. She has been diagnosed with stomatitis and is having most of her teeth extracted in a couple weeks. Don't worry, she is going to feel much better and cats without teeth can eat just fine and be happy. She loves to be brushed and petted. She's very affectionate and enjoys making biscuits and telling you all about her day, she's a very chatty girl. Sylvie would do well in a quiet home and she would do well either with other cats or as an only cat. She is older so she's not interested much in playing, but she would love to cozy up next to you on a blanket. I am happy to foster her until the right person who wants to adopt her comes along. I am rehoming her because I have another resident cat, I am allergic to her and our home is not very quiet a lot of the time. She has REALLY come out of her shell though and I think she might take some time to readjust so she needs a little more patience than other cats in her new home. She needs to be indoor only and wear a collar and ID badge at all times. She will also be microchipped before she goes to a furever home.
