  Claude is a very sweet and cuddly kitty, with the greatest pelt we have ever known. Seriously, its thick, soft, warm, and you can't help but want to bury your face in it. In fact he loves it when you do! But, he has VERY high anxiety; and with our recent move, our dog Hank, a new baby in the house, and the potential of more children down the road, we have become very aware that he would really be much happier and more comfortable in a home where he is the only pet. We are committed to finding Claude the right home, and the right owner who is not only a good fit but is aware of his unique needs as a high anxiety cat, and ready to take that on. He would do best in a home where he is the only pet, no young children, and can get lots of cuddles. That's where we could use your help. Please let us know if you or anyone you know is looking for a new companion that you think could be a good fit. We would also take suggestions on foster programs or any other resources that could help us find him the best home. Below are more details on Claude: - Roughly 5 years old - Neutered - Current on vaccines - Litter box trained - Has a pronounced limp (he broke his front left leg about 2 years ago, and now has a rod and wire) - We would include his cat tree (that he LOVES), litter box, and any leftover foods we have for him. - FEARS: people, other animals, loud noises, paper bags, outside - LOVES: food, ear scratchies, head butts, lap time, his peek-a-boo house, feather toys
