Great Cats for Great Homes

  We adopted Mosie after fostering her. She had a great life until we adopted 2 dogs. Over time, we worked with them all to try and work things out and we thought they eventually would. The dogs like Mosie, but Mosie does not like the dogs. She lives in my bedroom and hides under the bed out of fear when the dogs come in. She prefers time with me, snuggled in a recliner, but I can’t sit in my room all day. I have things to do and she is unwilling to walk around the house with me because she is scared. She truly wants to be around her person. We have decided it is best to find her a new home without dogs where she can be with her people all the time. She is vocal and likes to meow in conversation with you. She loves a warm lap and once comfortable with you, will soak up lots of loves. She is slow to trust and will bond well if she doesn’t feel threatened. She can be skittish at first while getting acquainted. She prefers to stay indoors but without dogs around, she would enjoy sitting on the porch watching birds and soaking up sunshine. She loves to chase feathers, toy mice with catnip and trash bag twist ties are a favorite. Indoor only please - donation fee applies.
