Great Cats for Great Homes

  Mitzy is a loving 16 yr old kitty that loves to sit on laps and be petted and cuddled. She recently lost her brother who she has been with her whole life and is very lonely now that she is the only one home most days. She is an indoor cat that likes to venture out onto the patio occasionally but is most comfortable inside and if out likes a door open so she can quickly run back in if she feels a need. She is litter box trained and does not have any medical issues. She tends to scratch at the carpet but will use a scratching post with jute rope and the cardboard scratchers sold at pet stores. She loves to play with small toys and still seems like a young cat when she runs about and chases things. Mitzy would love a home with someone around, she would be ok with children once she got used to them. She is shy and hides when strangers come over but will eventually venture out to say hello once she feels comfortable. Please consider Mitzy, we think she will be much happier in a home where she is with people constantly instead of alone in our home so much.
