When Jack was a kitten, he had an accident and lost his left eye. It doesn't bother him at all and he very much likes that he looks like a pirate cat. Jack is also a Manx with a unique short tail and long back legs, but wait, there is more! Jack has been blessed with hands and I mean hands. He is Polydactyl on all fours and has 7-8 toes on each foot. His previous Owner declawed him in the front, so he will never claw your furniture, but with all those toes, he might use the computer keyboard! At 5 years old Jack is at that age where he understands you, and you him. It is pretty much the ideal age to adopt a cat and unlike a kitten, you know exactly what you are getting. With One-Eyed Jack, you are getting a lot. Jack has an easy demeanor but is an independent kind of guy who isn't needy or snuggly. He does his thing and you do yours. When he is ready, chin and head scratches are most appreciated. He uses his litter box perfectly too. When over-stimulated, he lets you know and will saunter to a back room to relax. He loves being up high in a cat tree to look out the window at the world. Jack would like to have a single person or couple adopt him, without kids, cats or dogs (although Jack has been around dogs, he prefers not to). His owner is moving into a travel trailer in the extreme heat of Arizona and with being gone in the daytime, it is too risky to leave Jack in the trailer alone. Jack is on a Salmon and Chickpea Kibble and would love wet food added to his diet with his new Owner. Jack is neutered and up-to-date on vaccines. He has been an indoor-only cat his whole life ( and needs to stay indoors only), so no fleas or worms. He will be micro-chipped as well. Jack would love to sail away with you.
