My family and I got Charlie when he was just a kitten. He has lived with myself and my husband and our 6 year old daughter since he was a kitten. He's always gotten along great with our daughter he was indoor/outdoor and just a wonderful cat. He is fixed and had his kitten shots but is not up to date, we recently had to move in with my mother a few months back and unfortunately due to several different reasons Charlie couldn't come with us there, a dear friend of mine offered to home him for us until we could get into our own place. After Charlie being there with her only 2 days he got outside and was gone missing for about 2 months. My daughter was devastated. 2 days ago my friend saw Charlie a couple blocks away from her house and she told me, and we went to the spot he was seen and my 6 year old daughter yelled his name and sure enough our cat came running out of the bushes and straight into her arms. He was very skinny, After that moment, my husband took him to the car and it was nothing but hissing and scratching and he was in constant defense mode. I believe his time on the streets was very difficult for him.. we have him now with us and he's currently in a huge enclosement with his bed, food water and litterbox. He has finally calmed down a bit and began eating for us and has been sleeping a ton. The poor guy is traumatized and due to our living situation at the moment I can't keep him and give him the love and attention he needs. He needs to be resocialized he is acting like a feral cat but each day seems to be getting a little better. As much as we love him and want nothing more then to help him, it's just impossible right now. We have him safe, and full and loved for the time being but we are trying to find a cat lover that can help our baby and give him the life he deserves.
