Great Cats for Great Homes

Gorgeous all black male kitty named Ebby. He is presumed to be a Turkish Van/Maine Coon mix and has the loud, yet sweet personality to back it! He's a bigger boy, though not massive. He's in great shape physically and has no issue self regulating his food with free feedings. He is fed a can of wet food every day or so because he gets pretty dehydrated on kibble alone. He came from a slightly chaotic house with several other cats, the occasional dogs, and various people visiting. He's decided that he is not a fan of other animals, loud behaviors, or erratic movements. HOWEVER, he is a huge love bug, he talks a lot and wants lots of attention. He will roll over, rub on you, and even stand up on his hind legs to get your attention and pets! He likes to be talked to and roughly loved on, he'll follow you around and be your best friend, while also spending some solo time on his cat tree. He likes to be up high to feel secure, especially in new environments so this will be super important for his new home to have (I'll send him with a 6ft cat tree if you want it!) *Ebby takes about 3-4 weeks to warm up to the people in his household, he has a lot of anxiety which leaves him shivering and hissing when taken to a new place with new people. Although, he's a sucker for good neck scratches.. He will need to be in a room (bathroom most likely) where he absolutely cannot fully hide, and that gets visited at least twice during the day to maximize his ability to adjust to you! After that he can be out and will warm up to new spaces. He's very confident once he knows he can trust you. Indoor only. Donation $100
