Great Cats for Great Homes

Meet Mabel! She is a lovely adult, FIV+ kitty that is looking for her forever home. We have been fostering her for about a month, and her history is unknown; a friend found her off the side of I-5 and she had no collar or microchip, and no responses to her found posts. Mabel is shy and slow to warm, but very playful and affectionate when she gets comfortable. We think she'd do great in a quiet home with owners who are patient and will let her come out of her shell at her own pace. She LOVES food, and enjoys her supervised visits with our resident cat. She's had a check up where she got her first round of vaccines, was confirmed to be spayed, was given an overall clean bill of health, and an FIV diagnosis. The vet thinks she's a couple years old. It is recommended that FIV+ cats go to homes where they will be indoor only, receive regular veterinary care, and are with other FIV+ cats or the only cat in the home (it is not transmissible to dogs or humans). We want to find the perfect home for this sweet girl where she will be the center of attention and continue to live the indoor VIP life! $50 rehoming fee.
