Chloe is a sweet, friendly girl who we’ve loved for 8 years. I adopted her as a very sick 9-month-old and she has always enjoyed being queen of the house (she has always been indoors). She loves lounging in the sun or on your lap, she’s always up for playing with catnip toys or ribbons, and she’ll greet you at the door, just like a dog! Unfortunately she has not adjusted well to a new member of the family (our infant son) and has demonstrated her anxiety by going to the bathroom outside of the litter box and swiping at the baby…and with another baby on the way, we worry she won’t be happier. She would love a quieter, less stressful home where she could be the only pet. She is microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date on her vaccinations, but she does need special food to help her avoid bladder stones (she had them once two years ago and the vet determined that Urinary Care food and extra water would help keep her healthy). She’s currently on Hills C/D dry food. Early in her life she was quite picky about litter, but we found one that she likes (World’s Best Cat Litter), though she does prefer a larger litterbox to do her business. Prior to the baby, she had no issue with using the litterbox correctly. We love her and will be sorry to see her go, but are hoping someone else will love her sweet nature and purrs. Indoor only.
