Valentina has had a mysterious past. She was found abandoned/strayed outside at an apartment complex's parking lot in Salem, Oregon. Many residents there knew the cat and showed it kindness but thought it is was another residents' indoor/outdoor cat for the last two years. She was only recently brought inside because they thought the "owner" just moved without her. A concerned resident brought her inside and had to cut a flea collar off her with a wire cutter as it was so tight. Come to find out it was microchipped but unfortunately with some digging we found out that the owner died and the wife moved from their home also in another part of Salem. So with advisement from the microchip company, we can rehome this kitty after a non response and proof of adoption with contract of which we will provide at adoption. Valentina is everything you’d hope a cat to be - she’s friendly, loving, and playful.  She’s very adaptable to new surroundings. She is immediately trusting and extremely affectionate, obviously loved when she was owned. And such a beauty queen! She is even more fluffy in person and soft to the touch like cotton. She will run up to you for pets as soon as she knows you a little better. She also has a nice steady purr. She loves to rabbit kick her sock filled with catnip, roll on her tiny little bird toy that makes tweeting sounds and she enjoys a good scratcher and uses them often. She may get a little overstimulated at times, and will hiss. But it never feels threatening or scary; it is sort of cute, really. Valentina is spayed; vaccinated on 9/29/22 with: FVRCP (prevents/treats distemper, herpes, and URIs), Rabies, and Leukemia; flea treated; dewormed; microchipped (no fee with changing of ownership for basic service); and tested for heartworm, FelV, and FIV and all are negative. All this for an adoption fee of $150 and delivered to your home with a no obligation meet and greet. Please give this sweet Valentina a warm, loving furever home before it becomes a foster failure!
