As odd as it sounds, Freckles was found living under a bridge, along the Periwinkle Canal in Albany, Oregon. We wanted to get him inside before the rains began as the canal would get filled and flooded with nowhere for him to go. We don't know anymore about his humble beginnings, other than we suspect lost or dumped given he is a friendly. We posted on the local Lost and Found page, but no owner came forward. So little orphan Freckles is in need of a loving and caring furever home. He gets along amazingly well with other kitties. And he also loves the attention from his humans too! He will come to greet you every time you make his presence and talk about the day's plans of eat, play, and sleep. He loves to gaze out the windows, so a cat tree in front of a picture window with be his dream oasis. Or better yet a Catio to lounge in come Spring time would be ideal. Also, he would love being a lap kitty and is a great big snuggle pillow. Yes, he will fill your lap! He gets along well with older kids too. We don't know about dogs, but he definitely needs other cat company. In rescue, we got him fixed; tested for FIV & FelV and negative for both; vaccinated for both 1 yr FVRCP & Rabies; flea treated and dewormed 2x; and a microchip that cost no more to register it. He is eartipped as it was the only type of appointment available for getting him done in a timely manner. $135 is the adoption fee and we deliver to your door.
