Meet CHANCE- a solid gray young male with a coat like a soft bunny. We think he is under 1.5 years old.   At 9-lb, he is a medium-sized boy with a friendly and outgoing personality who loves to sit by you when you are at the computer or on your lap if you let him. 

Chance was lucky to find a kind lady who took him in when the weather was horribly cold and he has fattened up a bit (he was so-o-o thin!) and his happy personality shows how grateful he is.  He is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (including rabies) and has been wormed with flea preventative applied too.  A blood panel was done that showed everything in the “normal” range although he was slightly anemic due to lack of food when he was outside.  

Chance’s best home will be with a person who is home a lot as he is social and he seems to get lonely.  He will be a great companion for a person who has quiet hobbies and will let him snuggle on the bed at night.  

He enjoys being brushed but too much of it and he starts to play-bite so paying attention to his signals are important.  Rolling on his back and showing his tummy is his way to invite being pet or brushed.  He has a soft and quiet purr.

Chance is learning to play with toys and has started to find lasers intriguing - - but for the most part it appears he was never given many toys to play with as a kitten.  He has a lot of fun experiences ahead of him to learn.  He likes his cat tree and sitting on the windowsill to watch the birds outside.   He has not been exposed to other cats or to any dogs in his foster home. 

If you win his heart with gentle kindness he will be “yours” forever.  Indoor only as the prior outside life did him no favors!  His adoption fee is $150.
