A beautiful Friendship:

Truffles (male) - 3 Mo-  was brought to us as a very scared little guy.  He took weeks before he was brave enough to join in the play of our other rescue kittens.  As he was taking those brave steps to play openly and not cringe and hiss when the humans came near, Xena (female) - 4 mo - entered his life.  Even more scared and traumatized, Xena spent days in the same small space she hoped was safe enough to protect her from the strange new environment she found herself in. 

Truffles made the effort to spend time sleeping near her hiding spot and eventually she let him snuggle in with her.  Truffles and Xena now spend all their sleepy time wrapped around each other and only groom one another. 

Truffles is still wary with strangers and may never like being held, but once he trusts you, he is a snuggle bug that demands pets and cuddles.  Xena still has a long way to go.  She is fearful and unsure.  If you are near her for awhile she will timidly seek out attention, (and if she so honors you, you will be treated to the softest, fluffiest fur!) but if you leave her sight and return, the process of gaining her trust begins again.  Due to her ongoing struggle we offer Xena and Truffles as a package deal.  One would not be happy without the other, and so, if you adopt Truffles, Xena will be tagging along.  Indoor only.

*favorite toys are laser pointer and wand toys

Adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, and negative FIV and FeLV test.
