Plumpkin is a very handsome, five-year-old neutered male.  He is a shy, sweet boy who loves to sit on your lap, be brushed, play with his ribbon toys, retrieve treats from his puzzle box and watch birds from his cat tree. He is a clever kitty and can open doors with lever handles so privacy in the loo can be challenging.  Plumpkin is an indoor only kitty, he is litter box trained (he never eliminated outside of the litterbox), and current on his Rabies and FVRCP vaccinations.  For full disclosure, the tip of one of Plumpkin’s bottom canines broke off when he was a teen, the vet advised it doesn’t need to be pulled and remains functional.  Plumpkin is a bit messy when he eats because of it, especially wet food.

I am rehoming Plumpkin because he is no longer happy living with his rambunctious sibling who is just too much for Plumpkin’s sensitive temperament. Plumpkin perceives his brother’s antics as threatening and has become passive-aggressive towards him.  Despite veterinarian recommendations and cat expert protocols, the kitties just cannot get along.  Because of this dynamic and Plumpkin’s quiet nature, he really needs to be the only cat or paired with a cat who is also reserved. Plumpkin has only lived in a quiet house with a childless couple, he has never been around children or dogs. His temperament is so sweet so he likely would do fine with children as long as they are instructed as to how to gently and kindly treat animals.  He may however perceive dogs as a threat and run.  Indoor only.  UTD on vaccines.  Rehoming fee $75
