Sophie is the perfect companion cat that requires little effort but gives back so much in lovely chats, head butts, purring and cuddling. At 12, Sophie spent 9 years of her life with her Senior Best Friend who recently went into assisted care after suffering 3 strokes. Cats are not allowed at the facility, so a friend stepped in to help Sophie find a new someone to spend the rest of life with. Sophie is so easy to love. With her soft short fur, her perfect litter box use, and her sweet nature, she’s just the ideal cat for a single person or couple looking for a kitty companion to snuggle with. Sophie is quite the chatty kitty and loves to “talk” to her person. Her Foster Mom and Dad say Sophie spends equal lap time with them in their home in Silverton. Sophie is spayed, has had all vaccinations, is dewormed, defleaed and is ready for her forever home. She comes with a bed, and transition food. She even got a bath as Sophie was an indoor/outdoor garden cat previously, but now really wants nothing to do with the cold, wet, outdoors. Sophie is not fond of other cats or dogs and would need to be an only cat. Sophie comes from a Smoker-Free, Scent-Free foster home. Adoption fee is $50.00.
