Poppy is a loving, playful, and vocal boy. He has an ongoing loving affair with long naps, fresh out of the dryer laundry, cuddling at night, being picked up as soon as I come home, kissy noises, catnip treats, and chasing toys. He’s really just the biggest snuggler, a photogenic friend, and loves to have company. He’s always excited to meet new people and loves to be vocal and “chat” with me about things. Enjoys a good window to watch the street or trees or birds. He is neutered and litter box trained.

Previously owned with another cat and two dogs, they all got along well. Never been around children. Before learning his smaller warning signs(tail flicks, little grumpy meows) if he is overstimulated, he’ll let you know by giving you a light pressure bite(not an issue for cat savvy/willing to learn friends!).

He actually adopted me; I was cat-sitting for a friend who’s deployment got extended by the pandy, and after a year and a half it made more sense for me to keep him, I’ve now had him three years! I can’t afford to keep him time/attention wise or monetarily. I’ve started working more to survive and he’s really just getting the short end of the stick with the quality of life I’m able to give right now. I’m hoping to find him a home where he can be loved and played with again!  Indoor only.  $75 rehoming fee
