Meet our Diva, Cassie. She is one easily adaptable and confidence cat who desires your attention. She was born in rescue and was adopted by her foster. Unfortunately, the foster's life circumstances changed this year and she no longer could keep Cassie. Cassie needs her human companion, most likely another female. She will follow you around wherever you go. And after she gets completely comfortable with you, she likes to give kisses and will even attempt grooming you. She is a great lap cat or is content just laying beside you on the couch. One issue with her, though, is she must be allowed to sleep with you or you will hear about in the middle of the night. She is so adorable she wants to hug your arm while you sleep or on your chest, if you let her. But Cassie is still playful like a kitten and needs her daily zoomies. Her most energetic time is mornings. Toys are a must. Her favorites are hanging bouncy toys and the red light. Cassie is best as the only cat as she can be as we said a Diva, meaning bossy and pushy and they get out of her way. But she does love dogs, especially big old laid back senior dogs, who she can rub up against. Older children who are respectful she might tolerate, but she isn't thrilled with them and will take a little time to earn her trust. Cassie was fixed and fully vaccinated as a kitten in 2021 and tested for FelV and FIV where both were negative. She got her annual FVRCP vaccine and a 3-year Rabies vaccine this May, 2023. She is also microchipped. She has also been dewormed and given monthly flea treatments. She is fully vetted and healthy, and will come with her medical records. We are asking for a donation of $160 as her adoption fee and will be hand delivered to her new loving and caring home.
