This is Champ but his named morphed into Clark, (as in Clark Kent). He is quite the character. But he is no Superman, and not a nice guy when around other males. He will challenge all of them. We think he was a singleton most of his young life and therefore never learned to play in the sand box with others. He is best to be a single cat for the rest of his life. We don't know how he is with dogs, but most likely won't want to have anything to do with them. But at the same time, maybe he just hasn't met his soulmate? His origins are uncertain. However, he was trapped after found by a resident of a Lebanon mobile home park, eating out of the garbage. Therefore we believe, he was previously own and possibly abandoned, especially when it only took 6 weeks for him to tame up into a sweetheart. Definitely a faux feral. At the beginning, he would follow his tamer around like a lost puppy dog and can still be carried around like a rag doll. But it is best to not be in his face and follow his lead if he wants to engage with you or not. He will growl, but never bite, if you take him away from something he wants to do (like fight with another feline) or doesn't want to do. So, you need to give him some space and freedom consideration. But when he comes to you, he is a super sweet, loving cat purring deeply and making biscuits next to you or on your lap. And Clark is a very smart and an independent cat. He shows his love on his time. He may even get in the habit of greeting you at the door. And he may someday, sleep with you. He will need stimulation like watching the outside world from a Catio or picture window and toys to play with and definitely scratching post. He would probably be best with an retired female or child-free, older woman, rather than a male. That is who his foster is and therefore familiar and comfortable with. But at the beginning he will be shy, almost feral like. You will need to gain his trust and allow him to acclimate at least 3 mths, 6 weeks at minimum. That is why we will give 3 months money back guarantee, in case, he isn't a good fit in your home. One other thing, to this day, he wants only human food all the time. Even food he shouldn't have. He may be a great candidate for a raw diet as it is closet to looking like human food. You can't leave any food unattended and certainly keep a lid on the garage can or hidden inside a cabinet. He will eat rotten food, no problem. He hasn't grown out of that habit from his street days. But he is quite the gentleman taking food from your hands as he is very careful not to accidently bite you. But he will not stop at begging, and he will take it with or without your permission. So be warned. Clark was neutered and tested for feline Leukemia and feline Aids and was negative. He is microchipped. And his last vaccines, FVRCP (treat/prevents Distemper, Herpes, and URI) and Rabies are good until May of 2024. He is monthly flea treated and dewormed. He will come with his medical records, and delivered to your home for the meet and greet. We are asking for a donation of $180 for the adoption fee.
