Sweet Pea is a beautiful seal point Siamese mix with striking white markings on her legs often described as ‘snowshoe.’ She has a soft, higher-pitched meow. She is estimated to be 3-5 years of age. She is socially curious, friendly, rambunctious at times, and has a sweet disposition. She also has boundaries acquired over her short lifespan to ensure her own survival, so allow some time to get to know each other.

She can be petted, held, and carried around and will let you know when she gets tired of that. She responds and is interactive when playful cat activities are offered (e.g., with cat toys, kickers, chasing feathered wands or cords, etc.). She provides excellent entertainment and has a great sense of humor. She responds to gentleness
and to talk that is sweet and encouraging. She loves the sun shining through the window and also fresh or dried catnip. She uses the litter box without a problem. She is currently eating both canned and dry high-quality cat food.

“Sweet Pea” is making a smooth transition to indoor living. When we first met this little girl a few months ago, she was out on the street, underweight, still nursing kittens and suffering from an itchy skin condition. With the foster care and veterinary care that she’s been given since that time, she has gained weight, her skin has cleared up, she has grown a healthy, thick haircoat, and she has been spayed. She has been treated for parasites, tested negative for feline leukemia (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and has received a one-year rabies and her first annual FVRCP vaccination.

This kitty will do best in a non-boisterous, indoor environment with a mature person or persons that have a good understanding of feline behavior. If you have a secure (no possible escape potential) outdoor ‘catio,’ that would be a definite plus! If there is another cat in the household, sufficient time and appropriate methods for
introduction should be observed.

Rehoming fee is $100.  Indoor only for her health and longevity!
