Great Cats for Great Homes

Ezekiel and Gabriel are two bonded year-old brothers.  They are playing all over the house and enjoy having space to run and climb and develop their muscles.  They occasionally talk to each other with chirps and trills and do the same for their human foster mom when they are calling for her.

  They love to play in the crinkle fabric tube-toy and can get playful crazy in this tunnel.  They love toy mice, enjoy the ball track and are learned to enjoy wand toys.  They love rolling around on their backs when they want scratches (and they love scritches all over!).  Both boys are easily directed if they do something that isn’t allowed, like gettin on the dining table.  They were isolated in small spaces before coming to the foster home, so they spent time in 1 bedroom of the house until recently, so they do have life lessons to learn but they are very curious, watchful and intelligent.  They are learning that they really enjoy the wide open spaces!  As with most cats they like to sleep hidden away, but they are starting to get more comfortable sleeping in the open near their human foster parent.

Gabe and EZ are becoming friendly with other people that they don’t know.  They are initially cautious, but engaging them in play will make them more comfortable with new people.  These brothers are learning to purr (it is so quiet, just like a vibration) and both will snuggle with their person.  Gabriel really likes sitting on your chest -  chin and cheek scratches almost lull him to nirvana.  Ezekiel prefers to just flop down and have you scratch him all over, including his belly!  These siblings didn’t get a lot of toys when they were growing up and now are making the most of the lost time.  A cat tree, some toy mice and places to explore are a must.
