Great Cats for Great Homes

Leo is a bright, beautiful, sweet and overall lovely cat. He is an indoor/outdoor cat. He loves exploring the backyard/neighborhood for a couple hours at a time before returning home for temptation treats and a break. He would do just fine as an indoor-only cat too.

He currently has one dog sister. They love each other very much. We think he could do well in a home with another dog if they are introduced properly and gradually.

The reason we are rehoming him is unfortunate. We are truly heartbroken over the decision. We recently had our first baby and simultaneously opened an in-home child care. His world is very different. He is coping ok. He is adaptable. However, the issue is how he treats the children. He is extremely curious and wants to be very close to the action. He’s swiped at a few children when they got close. And because it’s a business I cannot risk him seriously hurting someone. He’s also bit the infant’s leg when he was kicking around- maybe he was playing but it’s not safe.

He will do best in a home with no infants or young children. Other than that he is healthy, very happy and loving too. We love him so much. He is going to make someone very very happy. He’s a great cat.  Leo lives in Beaverton with his family and his rehoming fee is $100.
