Kitty is a beautiful 13-year-old tortoiseshell who is as affectionate as they come. She’s a total lap cat who loves to snuggle and soak up attention, and despite her age, she still has a playful side — especially when chaser toys, or her own tail, are involved! Curious by nature, Kitty always wants to be part of whatever you’re doing and will happily “help” with your day-to-day tasks. She would thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can be the only animal and have plenty of company throughout the day.

Kitty enjoys gentle companionship and would do well with respectful children who understand animal body language. Her perfect day includes a warm lap, a few chin scratches, and a chance to explore the outdoors to take in all the new smells and sounds.

Kitty is being rehomed through no fault of her own — her current owner’s schedule has changed, meaning she’s often home alone, which has caused some stress-related litter box issues. With more time, attention, and a peaceful environment, Kitty will quickly settle back into her happy, loving self.  Kitty lives in Portland with her owner and her rehoming fee is $50.
