Is this lap taken?  Samwise (aka SAM) is on the lookout for some prime lap real estate where she can make endless biscuits and purr her heart out. She starts purring the moment your eyes meet!

We found Sam as a stray in August and nursed her back to health. Her friendly, confident personality and total lack of fear around people made us think she was once someone’s pet — likely abandoned rather than truly feral.

While we never planned to keep her (we have cat allergies and prey-driven dogs), we couldn’t bring ourselves to put her back outside alone. Sam is playful, affectionate, and endlessly curious. She may have a small jaw issue, but she eats soft or wet food just fine.

Sam is ready to find a loving forever family — she’s a sweet, confident little kitty who will fill your home with warmth, purrs, and love.  She lives in Salem with her family and her rehoming fee is $50.  Samwise is a young indoor only gal about 1 - 2 years old (estimated).  She is spayed and UTD on vaccines.
