Onyx is a stunning 5.5-year-old black beauty with the sweetest little white heart on her chest—like she’s wearing her love on the outside. She’s a confident, social girl who truly enjoys being around people. Onyx settles in quickly, explores her surroundings with curiosity, and happily soaks up attention. Whether you’re working from home or relaxing on the couch, she’ll be right there, ready to keep you company.

Onyx is currently being fostered with another younger adult cat and is doing well. She’s also had a brief, positive introduction to a cat-friendly dog. With her easygoing and affectionate nature, she would likely do well in a home with older, gentle children who can give her the attention she is looking for.

Onyx’s journey hasn’t been easy—after her previous owner was unexpectedly taken away, she and her companion were left outside. Thankfully, kind neighbors stepped in and brought them to safety. Despite everything, Onyx remains trusting, loving, and ready to start her next chapter.

She is fully vetted—spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.  Onyx’s adoption fee is $125, and she is currently located in Beaverton
