Meowgwai: mom-cat extraordinaire. With new people and new situations she can be a little guarded until she knows that the people are kind and that she is safe, but this is true of cats in general. Her basic character is very sweet, gentle and affectionate. She likes to wait until you are sitting and then she comes over and asks to be on your lap or cradled against your chest. She loves to be stroked under her chin and along her cheeks. She will make someone a loving companion.
Meowgwai's play behavior is very low-key and slow to engage, indicating that she rarely got to play with toys when growing up. If sufficiently stimulated by moth-like motion of the "Cat Dancer" toy she does show interest and with time she will become more playful because like every cat she is hard-wired to chase and attack.
She has a healthy appetite, prefers canned food to dry and goes crazy for the occasional treat, like "Greenies". Her litter box manners are perfect and she prefers softer litter like "Swheat Scoop" to clayThe Adoption fee is $120 for kittens ($200 for two to the same home) $60 for adult cats.
