CHARLIE Charlie is an 8 year-old snowshoe tabby. He spent the first 5 years of his life as an indoor cat, playing with his brother Nermal, lounging around in his cat bed, and leaping around our apartment chasing feather on a string. Then in quick succession, we had a child, and moved to a new city, and his world got a little turned upside down. But he’s adapted and is still the loving, lazy cat we loved, but now he LOVES the outdoors, lying in wait for squirrels he never catches, watching birds, and chasing bugs. He gets along with most other cats, and avoids our daughter (now 3) whenever she storms into a room. He doesn’t have any experience with dogs, but I can only assume he’d just avoid them as he does our daughter. He is a wonderful cat, always game to slump his body against you for a deep tissue belly rub, or collapse into a cozy cat bed after a long day of bird hunting.
