Great Cats for Great Homes

Simboosla (it means cat with a head of a lion) or Boosi/Boo is around 12lbs, Tuxedo Blk/Wht, yellow eyes, medium long fur, microchipped, fixed, 12yrs old, adopted on Aruba island West Indies, Norwegian Forest Cat Mix, has claws, been vaccinated but due now, I have all her vet records. Vets has said she has seasonal and food allergies which causes hair loss around face and a little blood in stool so in the AM HILLS Senior Chicken and rice and sometimes I switch it up with Grain Free chicken and potato (but she does not like this as much), for wet food she gets Wellness Chicken, Simply Nourish chicken, and Natures Recipe grain free chicken. For treats I give either Organix chicken grain free, Wellness chicken and lamb, and on occasion Greenies hairball control chicken flavor (but it has grains). She is friendly to family and visitors. Quiet but affectionate, an independent princess with her pretty lion coat, and is playful but gentle without teeth or claws unless provoked! She likes to chase bugs, likes to engage with you in feather toys and thick string toys (but not without supervision) and loves to jump into boxes and suitcases! She is indoor only, but enjoys going outside into her cat enclosure mostly for eating grass (which she loves, wheat grass is ok too) and watching birds. She has access to the entire house, but stays out where she is trained NOT to go. She loves looking out the window. Her entire life has been indoors, so she doesn’t know or understand other animals or the scary world. She gets along and is gentle with her fellow cats but sometimes gets picked on in the pack. She would not be good with children, but adults and seniors would be a good match. She is not spooked easily and is VERY SMART. If she wants something, she will let you know it! She is very affectionate and likes to be pet and a good companion but not a needy lap cat. She is calm and quiet most of the time. Well behaved, well trained and likes to be gently brushed often or her hair will clump and tolerates getting her nails trimmed! She has a sweet demeanor but will stand her ground if pushed. She is not fond of going to the vet but does ok. She likes her cardboard cat scratcher and other scratchers to stretch and relax herself. Keeping her back sided hair trimmed will stop any fecal from sticking to it on occasion! She likes unscented clumping litter in a large box she can stand on the side to defecate inside the box…she hates getting her paws dirty! She likes her box cleaned often! She travels well long distances, and often likes to change sleeping areas.
