Subject: Mau Mau, a Tuxedo Black and White Female Cat about 6 1/2 years old.
She answers to Mau Mau. She is spayed. She is an inside cat, but sometimes likes to dart out when the doors open - but she comes back in quickly. She eats dry cat food, and usually has cat treats 2 or 3 times a day. Mau Mau has fresh water and cat food out all the time so she can enjoy it as she wants.
She has a cat box, which is cleaned daily, and freshened every 2 or 3 days as needed. Mau Mau enjoys getting on my lap when I sit in my recliner, likes her head and nose stroked, and to be gently pet. She often follows me around and wants to be close to me. She investigates anything new in the home, and likes to bask in the sun coming through a window. She also loves to be played with using a laser light. I'll open a curtain and lift the blind for her to lay on the window sill to look out and observe the day.
She's always been a good cat, enjoys playing with little stuffed cat toys, and having catnip on her scratch board. We have kept her claws trimmed when we notice them snagging on the carpet. Mau Mau is a healthy cat.
My wife and I are both disabled and in our 70's, and find it difficult enough to care for ourselves and Mau Mau also. We are also moving to Tucson and own a home in the Sonora Dessert where we are in the mist of wild critters like wild pigs, rattlesnakes, coyotes, tarantulas, scorpions and such, and also very vicious cactus and feel if she got out she could become a casualty.
Mau Mau is a beautiful cat and is marked well. I believe you will love her and enjoy her.
