Spunky and Panther are two senior cats, both are approximately 9 yrs old. Their owner has Alzheimer's and must move as of May 10th. This move was unexpected at this time and she is unable to take her cats with her.
Spunky is a sweet lap cat, she has gray med long fur and green eyes. She loves her scratching toys and just hanging out. She will cuddle with you at night while you sleep. She would be a great cat for a quieter household. A great companion for a senior or home without small children or dogs. She has no health problems, but will need to bring shots current. She has been spayed but we no longer have any medical records. Spunky is approximately 10lbs and an indoor only cat.
Panther is Mr.Personality. He is a large black cat with gold eyes. He will talk to you and let your know what is going on. Loves to sit by the window and watch the activity outside. Will sit next to you, but not in your lap. His favorite thing is drinking out the bathroom sink faucet. He will tolerate other cats and dogs. A household with older kids or just adults would be best. He is in good health, but his will need to brings shots current. He is neutered, but we no longer have any medical records. He is a big boy of about 18lbs and an indoor only cat.
Although it would be nice to find a home that could take them both, they are independent cats and will be fine if they have to go to separate homes. The most important thing is that they are both wonderful cats and deserve to be loved and live out there lives in happy homes.
This is a very sad time in our lives. No one expects to get Alzheimer's especially at the age of 55.
The adoption fee for these deserving cats is $25 each and will go 100% to providing care for other Community Service cats, lost or abandoned, without a home. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes.
