This sweet senior gal was once someone's baby-love. She is deaf but that doesn't bother her. The following is from the Good Samaritan that found her, took her to the vet and cared for her.
"We named her "Meredith". She's a grey/white DSH, very sweet disposition, loves to be pet and brushed. Basically sleeps all day and isn't easily awoken because she's deaf. She still likes to play with toys and loves food and treats. She's around 12 years old and has some arthritis in her back legs. She is on a low calorie food because she's pretty chubby. She gets along with other cats and all people, but isn't too fond of dogs. She's just looking for a nice, warm retirement home."
Her rescuer paid for her vet care for an ear infection and care of her bad teeth. She continues...
"Meredith is litter box trained, very social, very easygoing, and sweet. She's elderly and has issues but she's well worth finding a good home for.
As far as her vet visit goes, she's already been spayed so she once had owners, no microchip though. She's had antibiotics for her ears and teeth as well as a steroids shot. She's also been treated for fleas and worms. She will need to have blood work done to rule out any disease. Her teeth are pretty bad but shes too old to go under for teeth cleaning. And she's entirely deaf."
