Here are some recent pictures of Ash the cat I need to find a home for.
Our vet thinks he is between 8 & 10 in age maybe 12 at the oldest? He has
been tested for feline leukemia and was negative. We had him vaccinated for
rabies/leukemia and distemper. He has been flea treated and all checks out
good on him. We are checking him for one other thing right now as he is very
itchy so we're checking a possible skin allergy? Not sure what just yet if
anything. He is neutered and very cat friendly and people friendly. No clue
on dogs? I would say no children. Possible older couple or person in a quite
home with a nice garden yard as he does like it outside but is not a roamer
at all and does prefer indoors and company . He is independent but does like
to climb on your lap at night and likes to sleep on the foot of the bed. He
is liter boxed trained and knows what a cat door is. He also is very good
with the scratching boards, have yet to see him touch the furniture. Does
not have a problem staying off the counters and I am very impressed by that.
He loves to follow you were ever you go always right on your heels. At times
he can be very playful when played with and loves the feathery wands and cat
nip balls.
He was someone's or some families cat this I know but as to how he came to
show up on our door is still a mystery as all efforts to find his owners
have failed. We have had him for two months now and we have slowly
integrated him into our full house already as we already have three female
cats. So for now he sleeps out on our deck in a cozy safe spot during the
day and comes in at night and is a very good boy as my girl kitties are none
too happy about all this and the stress is starting to take its toll. I am
starting to feel desperate with winter coming so I am reaching out to
everyone I can for help. If I can get him a home or if another foster parent
came to "My Rescue" I would be more than grateful. We really don't have a
good situation here but will continue to do our best until I have some
blessing come my way for him.
