I believe anyone who loves cats will be taken with Coquette. She is a green-eyed, black, short-hair “tuxedo” cat who was spayed at about 6 months, so she's not had any kittens. She has white paws, chest and belly. Her mother lived with us all her life until she died last month. Since then Coquette seems quite lonely. Even though Coquette is 14 years old, she is very lively when she wants to be. She loves it when anyone wants to pet her - adults or children.  Of course, she's wary of strangers, but if they talk to her quietly and pet her, she becomes their friend immediately. She likes to sleep or sit on my lap as long as I'm willing to hold her. She “meows” distinctly when she wants something. She's an indoor/outdoor cat, but stays indoors more these days. I've had a scratching post for her that she uses and also a litter box, but she also uses the outdoors. 

I took her to the veterinarian recently, and she got a clean bill of health except for a slight ear infection which has been cleared up with the ear drops. I have the Certificate of Rabies Vaccination.
