These cute boys were adopted when kittens and have grown up together as brothers.  As a kitten, Speedy, our black cat, was always busy playing and running from here to there.  He hasn't changed much over the years, still loves to run and play.  He loves to be petted and curl up on the couch with you to watch a show.  Maui, our gray cat, has been shy since he was a kitten and is much more mellow.  He is happy to curl up on the couch or in front of the fire, and when he is in the mood, he will "talk" to you to let you know that he wants to be petted.  So cute!  Both love to snuggle together on the couch or in front of the fire. They grew up in a home with kids and a dog and are sweet, loving, little guys.  I love them both so much and am so sad that health issues have caused me to look for a new home for them.

The short answer for re-homing is asthma & allergies.  When I adopted the cats, and a dog, I was in a 2000 sq ft home.  Due to divorce, I am now in a 1000 sq ft home and have tried doubling asthma and allergy meds and am still having breathing issues.  I am hoping that going from 3 pets to 1 (my dog) will be ok for my lungs.

They don't have experience with other cats but they have been around a dog, Jake is a black lab.
Yes for older children, my son was 12 when we adopted the cats.  Really no experience with younger children.
The are indoor cats only.
Both have been neutered.
Both are current on vaccinations.
Both were adopted at 4 months of age from NW Animal Companions on October 6, 2007
