Pippi is a little girl who started her life in a barn and has come a long way since, overcoming her shyness and deep mistrust of humans and being captured. She has since grown into a 1-year-old curious and playful beauty who's ready to find a forever-human to trust. You will be rewarded with a little warm body under your blanket at night, head-bumps and a reliable purr generator. 
Pips is currently with foster parents and has overcome almost all of her trust issues. She still does not like to be picked up and carried around, but she will be so ready to cuddle up on you anytime you sit or lie down. She has been around other cats -- likes boys better than girls, and will fiercely defend territory she thinks is hers. 
Pips will probably do better with adult humans, since she doesn't like trapping and holding and being chased, which smaller kids should be able to do with kittens. 
Pippi is for adoption through the Columbia Humane Society. To reduce the stress of transfers, we would love for you to meet her in her foster parents' home in Lake Oswego.
