Great Cats for Great Homes

My mother passed away a few years ago and I recently put my father on hospice care. I flew their cat out to Washington from Florida as my dad’s health declined and he was unable to care for him. Tommy is a very loving Siamese Lynx point that is 14 years old and will turn 15 this summer but he is youthful and healthy.  My mother loved this cat more than anything and so did my dad.  So it is really important that I find a perfect home for him as we are unable to keep him on a long term basis.  Tommy is a very sweet, loving lap cat.  He is an indoor only cat and is best as the only cat but could live with another though Tommy will assume the alpha role.  Most importantly....he would be best in a home with a senior or someone who wants a constant companion.....he is super loving and wants a lap to lay in and expects to share your bed with you.  He would be best with someone who is home most all the time.  Tommy is also used to being around dogs.  He enjoyed playing chase with my parent’s small dog.

He loves being carried around and If you are watching TV or reading Tommy is most comfortable in your lap or lying next to you.  If you are sleeping, he will insist in sleeping in your bed too.  He is an early morning riser and being a Siamese is also a very loud "talker" particularly when it is time to eat but he also starts talking occasionally when he finds himself alone.  If you call his name he stops meowing and comes running to you. He still loves to play....especially with his string on a stick if you wave it around.  He loves boxes and sitting on the highest point of the cat post. He doesn't claw furniture and he uses his cat post regularly. He will purr for you every time you scratch and pet him.  Do you have a loving home you would share with this orphaned old cat?  You will quickly grow attached to this sweet old boy.
