Great Cats for Great Homes

Lucy is a beautiful 11-year old domestic shorthair tabby with green eyes a sweet disposition. She is in excellent health, eats only dry cat food and is very “easy care.”  She is declawed so is an indoor-only cat. She had a surrogate mother cat for the first couple of years, but has been our only pet for several years. Lucy is generally quiet and self-sufficient (her favorite activity is sitting and viewing her domain out the window), but she loves to be petted and to snuggle at bedtime. She is shy at first, but generally warms up to new people quite well.

Lucy would be a great companion for an older person, but would also adapt to a childless family or one with older children. While she has been an “only cat” for quite some time, would very likely learn to get along in a home with other cats and even gentle dogs.
