  I am a fluffy black kitten and my name is POE.  I am one of the "Star Wars Kittens" along with Rey, Leia and Hux.  
I was abandoned in Seaside, OR.   I was left outside a store and I was scared until a kind woman scooped me up and gave me snuggles and food but I was still scared and didn’t know what to do so I just stayed quiet.

I am in a safe home now and I love to play with the kittens my age and I am friends with the older kittens and cats in my home too.  The older cats come up to me but don't want to play yet.  I still hide a bit as it has only been a little while since I was saved.   I like to be touched and when you scratch around my ears and neck it feels so good that I purr and purr.  

 My mom says I am her “work in progress” as I don’t always come to her when she calls me (I guess I am pretty stubborn!) but if you give me a little time I will be happy to sit on your lap and maybe even sleep by you.  I am learning to play with toys and a laser light.  I will need to have a kitten friend at my new home to play with and sleep next to. Mom promised no little kids and no bouncy dogs that chase.
